The owners of this bar & café have converted a lane-way on little Collins into a cute outdoor eatery. Complete with plants, synthetic grass and outdoor tables and chairs it resembles a park, Chuckle Park to be exact. Being an outdoor area they have protected patrons from the elements with gas heaters and awnings. Located near the corner of Elizabeth St, this little gem can be easily missed if you blink an eye.

Food and drink is prepared from an old school mini caravan and ties in well with the rest of the park theme. At the time I could only see one worker handling both, so at times service can be a bit slow, but worth the wait.

Chuckle Park is best known for their Pulled Pork Roll, topped with cheese & walnut, fennel, cabbage slaw. The bun is soft, the pulled pork spicy and the slaw tasty. With the addition of walnuts, it gives it nice texture, making this stand out from the other pulled pork rolls I have tried. Other stand out dishes, are the Albondigas (spanish meatballs), Spanish Lentil Salad and Elote (corn on the cob). Options for drink, are various beers and ciders, wines and the usual hot drinks . Surprisingly and disappointingly there aren’t any non-alcoholic cold drink options, which may be an issue for some.

Overall a great find, with the pulled pork roll being the highlight and a definite must try, if you ever get the chance to visit.
